Anyone born on or after January 1, 1988 may be required to complete a Florida boating safety test before operating a jet ski or pontoon boat. Drivers must also meet age and ID requirements before renting or operating.

Drivers must be at least 16 years old and must have a valid government-issued photo ID. A parent or guardian must be present for 16 and 17-year-old drivers. You must be 18 or older to rent.

Rentals and activities may be delayed, paused, rescheduled, or canceled due to unsafe weather, lightning, high winds, rough water, or other unsafe conditions. Safety is always the priority.
